Carleton’s new Master of Biotechnology program aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry, focusing on the science, communication, business strategies, entrepreneurship, and regulatory considerations associated with biotechnology.

The program is student centered: students will develop practical skills in biotechnology that they can apply to numerous industries, with emphasis on providing the tools to establish their own startup companies.
Beyond traditional coursework, students will have unparalleled access to practical, real-world learning experiences, including firsthand exposure to startup incubators and life-science companies.
Direct insights industry leaders, networking opportunities, conference participation, industry placements, attending professional pitch sessions and more.
Our goal is to empower students with the skills, knowledge, and professional training they need to lead in today’s fast-paced biotech landscape.
