Momentum AIR has been officially designated as an innovation cluster by Next Generation Manufacturing Canada (NGen), the industry-led organization leading Canada's Global Innovation Cluster for Advanced Manufacturing. This strategic partnership directly connects our deeptech incubator to NGen’s powerful national network of over 7,500 SMEs, 979 project partners, and $372 million in collaborative innovation funding. For our members, this unlocks unprecedented access to industry-led R&D projects, advanced manufacturing expertise, and commercialization pathways that have already generated $8.2 billion in revenue and created thousands of jobs across the country. This alliance accelerates the transition from prototype to production, providing our ventures with the scale and partnerships needed to compete and win in global markets.

Momentum AIR has joined the Canadian Biotech Consortium, a vital national network dedicated to strengthening Canada’s biotech ecosystem. As a member of this volunteer-driven, non-profit coalition, we are now directly connected to a collaborative force addressing critical gaps in funding, innovation, and global partnerships. This integration provides our incubator and its ventures with unique opportunities to engage in co-development initiatives, access strategic advisors, and participate in sector-wide efforts to build resilient anchor companies. It positions our community at the heart of Canada’s mission to accelerate diagnostics, therapeutics, and pandemic response through powerful collaboration.
Heart Insititute and Momentum AIR
Momentum AIR is proud to announce an emerging partnership with The University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Through this collaboration, we will deploy our skilled HQP talent and commercialization experts directly into their research ecosystem. We will work alongside the Institute's prestigious clinicians and scientists to evaluate the commercial feasibility of groundbreaking diagnostics and therapeutics, assessing key aspects from market need to regulatory pathway. Our goal is to systematically de-risk their most promising discoveries and provide a clear, actionable roadmap to bring these vital cardiovascular innovations from the lab bench to the market, improving patient outcomes.
